There's going to be a brand new me!

Do you see this photo here? One of the women pictured is a stunningly beautiful, world-famous M.I.L.F. (Google it if you don't recognize the reference. That's how I first learned what it meant.) The other one most definitely is not. But, that's going to change soon.

Last Saturday, Todd and I went to the Funny Bone Comedy Club to see the fabulously funny Jennifer Coolidge, a.k.a. Stifler's Mother in the American Pie movies. (As a side note, she's also great in the ABC Family TV show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager.")

One big plus to the whole evening was that Todd and I couldn't have been any closer to the stage. When she first got to the stage, Jennifer saw I was trying to take her photo, and she asked "Did you get it?" and then posed again for me. Also, at the show's end, she reached for Todd's hand to steady herself as she stepped off the stage. I could definitely get used to those seats and that access in the future!

There's something else from the evening that I don't ever want to get used to though, and that was how heavy I looked (and that was only confirmed by my scale that says I now weigh 185 pounds). Now, don't get me wrong. I realize that I have this body because I am a mother. I wouldn't trade Dominic for all the money and possessions in the world. But, that doesn't mean I can't also work for a hot supermodel body as well.

So, where do I go from here? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have a plan, and it involves this sexy yellow bikini. I will be wearing it on July 4 and posting a picture (or two) of myself here on House of Carrell.

Since I don't want any more embarrassment (posting my weight for the world to see was more than enough for me), I'm taking control. I'll be weighing in weekly and sharing lots of workout and diet details. This will be one heck of a journey, and I won't allow for anything other than a most successful ending.
